This one was a full-property concrete refresh. New front sidewalk, resurfaced entry steps, a new walkway running back to the shed, and an expanded shed pad. Four scopes of work, one crew, handled front to back.
The front sidewalk got a clean replacement - smooth, broom-finished concrete that ties right into the existing driveway apron. The curve in the walk isn't just for looks either. It follows the natural path people actually take to the front door, which makes a difference in how the whole front of the house feels.
Out back, getting to the shed used to mean walking across uneven ground. We added a new walkway that connects the garage-side concrete all the way to the shed, and expanded the pad while we were at it. Now there's a solid, level surface for moving stuff in and out - no more mud, no more guesswork.
Here's the thing about a job like this: it's tempting to just fix the one thing that's bothering you and call it good. But when we're already on site, already set up, it makes sense to look at the full picture. Doing all four pieces together means the concrete cures consistently, the work gets done efficiently, and you're not calling someone back out in a year for the next thing.
That's kind of how we approach every job - think it through, do it right, and don't cut corners just to get off the property faster. Whether it's one small section or a whole-property scope like this, the standard stays the same.
