A flat, unfinished backyard doesn't give you much to work with. No space to set up chairs, no defined area to gather, nothing that makes you want to spend time out there. That's a problem we solve a lot - and we've been staying busy doing exactly that.

One of the setups we're really proud of is a stamped concrete patio paired with a curved seat wall finished in a stacked stone stamp. The wall wraps the front edge of the patio and gives the whole space a built-in, polished look. It's the kind of detail that separates a slab from an actual outdoor living area. The stamped finish across the deck surface ties it all together.

We also put down a large traditional concrete patio underneath an elevated deck - the kind of covered space that's perfect for shade and shelter. Clean control joints, smooth finish, solid edge work all the way around. It's a big slab, and getting the flatwork right in a space with posts and stair footings takes real attention to detail. We made sure every section was tight.

On top of that, we knocked out a driveway extension with a broomed finish and a clean stamped border that adds just a touch of style without going overboard. The expansion joints are straight, the edges are crisp, and it flows naturally alongside the existing driveway. More usable surface, better curb appeal - simple as that.
